Integral Hatha Yoga Teacher

The basic Integral Yoga Hatha class is designed for a broad spectrum of students and can be modified based on certain physical conditions. The physical and mental benefits of Hatha Yoga alone make its study, practice, and dissemination extremely worthwhile. It is ultimately a comprehensive system for personal transformation - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

The Sanskrit term 'Hatha' means 'union'. This can be a union of mind and body or for others, a union of 'self' with a higher power. ​

Every class incorporates Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath control) and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation). 

The combination of all three, create a supple and relaxed body, increased vitality, radiant health and help in curing physical illness. 

Yoga Asanas are not exercise. The term means posture or pose, and done correctly, ensures that the entire body is comfortable, steady and is not under any duress or strain. 

Muscles can then be strengthened, stretched and core strength is markedly improved.

Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all Yoga practices today.
